A new, innovative string quartet program for the Las Vegas Valley.
NSA CHAMBER ARTS PROGRAM
Nevada School of the Arts introduces a chamber music program that goes beyond the rehearsal room.
In addition to coaching, masterclasses, and performance opportunities, students receive practical training in media production and branding, learning how to shape their artistic identity and communicate it effectively.
What is the Chamber Arts Program?
The NSA Chamber Arts Program: Artistry Meets Entrepreneurship.
The Chamber Arts Program is a structured training experience built around weekly coachings with leading Las Vegas professionals, including artists such as Las Vegas Philharmonic Concertmaster Deann Letourneau. Students also participate in masterclasses with internationally recognized guest ensembles, including groups like the ETHEL and Grammy award winning cellist, Eru Matsumoto.
In addition to performance training, students receive hands-on instruction in photography, audio recording, and digital media production, learning how to create professional content and develop their ensemble’s brand. The program also includes workshops in social media strategy and practical business sessions with local arts professionals, giving students direct exposure to both artistic and entrepreneurial leadership and what mistakes to avoid when trying to find work as a musician.
World-Class Mentorship: Weekly coachings with local icons like Deann Letourneau and masterclasses with visiting ensembles. Students are also invited to participate in NSA’s Masterclass Series with visiting professors and Ensembles.
Professional Media Training: Hands-on workshops in photography, audio recording, and digital production to capture your sound.
The Business of Music: Practical sessions on social media strategy, branding, and arts management led by industry professionals.
Performance Opportunities: Direct exposure to the stage and the local arts community.
Roundtable Clinics: Learn from esteemed professionals like Grammy Award Winning Eru Matsumoto and Producer Lisa Liu about setting yourself apart in the music industry.
Beyond the music?
In today’s competitive landscape, technical mastery is only the beginning of a successful career. To thrive, the modern musician must operate with a "triple-threat" mindset: combining artistic excellence with digital fluency and entrepreneurial agility.
While world-class performance remains the heart of the craft, it is the ability to navigate the business of the arts—from strategic branding and high-end media production to financial management—that bridges the gap between the practice room and a sustainable professional life.
By mastering the synergy between the bow and the business plan, artists gain the agency to not only perform at the highest level but to actively shape their own future in the industry.
